About this concert
Throughout the years, few operas have been as popular with young and old alike as The Magic Flute. Mozart's opera receives an inventive new production by the LA Opera, under the baton of conductor James Conlon. It's the U.S. premiere of a wildly imaginative staging that originated at the Komische Oper Berlin, created by director Barrie Kosky in combination with the British theater group 1927. This Magic Flute is inspired by silent films and Weimar cabaret, and features an astounding blend of film animation, brilliant live singing and playing, and some of the most inventive bits of stage wizardry the opera world has ever seen.

The Magic Flute Biography
Many years in the past, a young boy searched the highest peaks and the deepest mines in search of a legendary artifact... The Magic Flute. After decades of questing, the boy found said flute behind ASDA, and took it to the highest point around to blow upon it. The flute's magic summoned the greatest band mates of all time, and also Skinny. They formed a nerd rock band and named themselves after the flute that created them. Also they were in no way delusional about the way they were formed. https://soundcloud.com/themagicfluteuk https://twitter.com/TheMagicFluteUK Four piece comedy rock band from Sheffield.
