About this concert
Samantha Lindo’s ‘hauntingly flawless’ voice and powerful lyrics are both poignantly personal and entirely relatable. A British singer-songwriter of mixed Jamaican heritage, she mines a rich vein of subject matter in her songs, from heartache to mental health, the human condition to activism. Her full band brings together a stylish mix of soul, jazz, trip-hop and spoken word, creating a sound that is not easily box-able. Today she will be performing a stripped back set focusing solely on her voice and words.
