LONDON PARTY THRASH
SILLY SONGS, SERIOUS RIFFS
Formed in 2011 during the new wave of thrash renaissance, the band performed a handful of shows before releasing their debut EP 'Divine Command Theory'. Following the EP, the band continued to gig up and down the country gaining a reputation as an entertaining and energetic thrash band with a wide variety of influences.
In 2017 the band enjoyed their greatest success to date when they were granted a place on the lineup at Bloodstock festival following victory in the London Metal to the Masses competition. The band received excellent reviews after the show with 8/9s out of 10 across the board from various outlets.
Following this triumph, the band went into the studio to record their first album, ‘Shovel Butcher’ which is out now and available (along with all other recordings) at https://bangover.bandcamp.com and https://bangover.bigcartel.com.
The album received excellent reviews and the band continued to showcase it up and down the country along with their new EP Close Encounters of the Thrash Kind. The two highlights of this being Hammerfest at the Birmingham O2 in 2022 and The Underworld,(Camden, London) supporting thrash legends Acid Reign.
The band are now writing their second full album for release in late 2023/early 2024.
