Legendary, multi-award winning actress/singer Betty Buckley returns to Caf Carlyle, March 10 21. Her career spans theater, film, television and concert halls around the world. Shes received a sea of accolades including a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella, the Glamour Cat, in Andrew Lloyd Webbers CATS. Shes a 2012 Theatre Hall of Fame inductee, and the 2017 recipient of the Julie Harris Award from The Actors Fund for Artistic Achievement. Betty Buckley just completed a national tour of the new Broadway production of Hello, Dolly! produced by Scott Rudin.Caf Carlyle Frequently Asked QuestionsOriginally opened in 1955, the Caf Carlyle is a legendary cabaret venue with seating for up to 88 people, offering guests a quintessential New York experience unlike any other. The intimate setting of the Caf allows both artist and audience to engage with one another, lending a feeling of a private performance rather than a concert.Is there a food & beverage minimum?Yes. For 8:45 p.m. performances, please note there is a food minimum of $80 for two-courses.What times are available for dinner?Dinner is served prior to all 8:45 p.m. performances with seatings offered at 6:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.Please note we are not able to hold tables past 8:15pm. All no-show reservations will be released thirty minutes prior to show time. We appreciate your understanding.For 10:45 p.m. performances, there is an optional dinner menu available. Betty Buckley Biography

Betty Buckley is an American theater, film and concert artist. Born in Texas in 1947, she made her debut on Broadway at age 22 in "1776". More roles followed in New York and London, and in 1983 she won the Tony award for "Cats" and established herself as a true Broadway legend. She has appeared in "Pippin", "The Mystery of Edwin Drood", "Promises, Promises" and "Sunset Boulevard".

On TV, she is best known for her role as Abby Bradford, the stepmother on "Eight is Enough", and for her recurring role on "Oz".

On film, she has appeared in "Carrie", "Tender Mercies", "Frantic" and "Simply Irresistible".

Betty Lynn Buckley has made ten solo recordings, including "With One Look", "The London Concert", "Live at the Donmar", "The Doorway", "Children Will Listen", "Much More" and "Heart to Heart".

She now concertizes extensively across the United States, performing an eclectic mix of Broadway, blues, country, popular and cabaret songs. She receives uniformly rave reviews wherever she sings for her interpretative and dramatic skills.

In 2003, Betty Buckley moved to a 35-acre ranch outside of Weatherford, Texas, where she owns and shows cutting horses.
