Anna Danes

Anna Danes is an advocate for passion-pursuing and in an unstoppable dream-chaser. A former lawyer and stay at home mom, Anna reinvented herself at the age of 43 when she turned to singing as a way to find her voice and to change her life. She is now a successful jazz singer, songwriter, concert promoter, soon-to-be author, and all-around music entrepreneur.

Anna is the founder and CEO of the events company Anna Danes Presents, in which she produces and performs classic and original jazz experiences tailored for a sophisticated audience. Her trademark production “Jazz on Cedros” is credited as a “sophisticated musical happy hour” that is celebrating an uninterrupted string of sold-out shows since its inception in 2014. And she is bringing together “The Jazz Divas” of San Diego, featuring the top female Jazz vocalists of the area, for performances and recording.

Anna recently fulfilled another dream by recording “Find Your Wings,” her second full-length jazz album, at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, CA. It was released on October 30, 2016 and has gathered wide critical acclaim, debuting at #1 on the iTunes Jazz Charts and Top 25 on Billboard’s main jazz chart!

Danes hopes to empower people to pursue their passions and dreams with the songs on “Find Your Wings,” which will also be the subject of her first book, personal growth products and motivational speeches on the corporate circuit. Via music, writing and speaking, Danes’ encouraging message is that by facing your fears - in health and any personal challenge – you can break out of your cage, find your wings and transform your life.
