Haken

One of my favorite bands of all time. It was such a refreshing show without cursing and more importantly cursing at the fans! i.e. “How you MFers doing tonight”? Great job! Please come back again soon! Much love for great muscianship!

Awesome show, Arch Echo was a fun opener. Haken finally was able to play in Lawrence, third time was in fact the charm. Great setlist totally different from their performance a year prior in St. Louis. Excellent selection of new and old material. Haken is really growing to be one of the best in modern prog, long live Haken!

The set list was awesome, the atmosphere was intimate, the opening act was surprisingly good. I didn’t color in the last star all the way only because two tracks I really wanted to hear was 1985 and Nightengale. But that’s just me. I’m still rather shocked Haken doesn’t play in bigger venues but they are certainly building their fanbase since everyone their knew all the musical nuances.

Terminal West surprised me, although the venue doesn't look so appealing from the outside, once you step inside it's a whole experience, the lighting the decor, the huge cauldron that sits between the entrances of the bathrooms, it's a very unique place, the sound was great, the size is I'd say small but it allows for a very intimate evening with the artist. I loved it, definitely will come back to Terminal West for more shows!

My first time seeing these guys but certainly not my last! An absolute feast for the ears; they are incredible in person. The band was tight and Ross's vocals were superb. A stunning performance that tickled my musical nerd bone. My boyfriend and I geeked out hearing the older tunes as well as rocked out to the new ones from Fauna. I'm already chomping at the bit to see them again!

Fantastic performance of a band in shape that played very tight with a lot of energy. Great seeing them live for the first time. The matching outfits were also a nice touch :)

AMAZING!!! Great to see the band in person. Great musicians, great selection of songs! And to insert Yes' song "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" in 1985 was EXCELLENT! Will see them again!

Who in the hell heard of a metal show starting at 7pm? I missed most of the Haken set. So so bummed. 5 stars for the bands. 1 star for the start time.

Haken was awesome. It was wonderful to see them after this long Covid hiatus. This was my third time, previously seeing them headline in St. Louis twice before. They were not headliners this time so the set was much shorter, but maaan were they more confident and refined and tighter than ever. 1985 stands out for me the best, and it was surreal to see them cover Owner Of A Lonely Heart embedded within the song in the city where Alan White resided and passed just days before. I got a little bit choked up. Nil by Mouth was an instrumental display of raw power with precision not at all unlike Rush performing YYZ. The epic new song Carousel from Virus closed the set out and left me wanting more. Haken is growing their product humbly by word of mouth and it won’t be long when larger venues will need to accommodate their distinctive talents. It was quite the performance and can’t wait to see them again. Maybe in their native country this next time?! Five thumbs up!

This band is so progressive metal and it was awesome see them live, they did a tribute to yes the band Drummer by doing owner of a lonely heart in the middle of one of there songs, it so cool! Also trope was great opener!🤘

Haken is my favorite band so , yeah !!! They did not disappoint !!!! This was a much needed return to touring - as they did many songs from their (new ) album “Virus” , as well as a few old favorites . The tour is going till June with lots of stops - I’ll be seeing them again at the end of the tour - so get your tickets !!!!

Great show . 1st time in houston. A bit short but favourites cockroach ,1985 + puzzle box all there. Really tightened up since last time I saw them 2-3 years ago. Looking forward to CTTE 2020 where you can see full length show.

Bent Knee, Vola & Haken were fantastic...I saw the show second time on the same place (Szene Wien) and atmosphere was super... Thanks guys and see you soon somewhere out in space...

Incredible show! Mexico is one of the best audiences in the world and Haken enjoyed it as much as we did, you could see it in their happy faces. These guys are just amazing on stage!

This is the second time seeing Haken. Saw them a year or so ago when they toured for 10th anniversary Affinity. Radically different set list this time. Tunes from Vector and some other unusual choices, all played with the level of musicianship we’ve come to expect from this band. My only complaint was it seemed a bit shorter than last time. A one hour set followed by a 20 minute encore. Even if they had played another hour it wouldn’t have been enough. Great live band.

One of the best concerts I have attended. The crowd was pumped. The band was pumped. Haken. Thanks so much for coming to Denver and putting on an incredible show. You guys were dialed in last night. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Lost power 30 minutes into the show. Whole thing was a bust. Real shame. I was interested to see how these bands (the ones i didnt get to hear) were gonna sound. i'll give a 5/5 though. because its prog and everyone was cool about it, sucky as it was. Hopefully this doesnt occur again.

I have been to the Ash Street many times over the past 18 years or so. I didn't know what to expect as far as sound and it blew me away. Haken are the type of band that is so good that it makes you want to quit.

We had an absolutely phenomenal time, even despite the delay because of the power outage. What an outstanding band! Next time they're nearby my boyfriend and I will definitely see them!

Performances by all the bands were excellent. Unfortunately, the sound, particularly during Haken, was so bass and drums heavy that it was almost impossible to hear guitar solos, keyboards or most of the vocals.
