Bobby Flowers

Bobby Flowers fka DJ Lean Wit It is a diverse artist with a portfolio that includes musicology, videography, theater and visual arts. He honed his skills at Temple University's WHIP Radio Station while throwing some of the biggest events on campus and holds a Bachelor's degree in Media Production. He was the winner of Red Bull’s DJ Master Competition and has shared stages with several international recording artists including Black Eyed Peas, Burna Boy, Ty Dolla Sign, Raekwon, Manny Fresh, Sango and has toured with Jazmine Sullivan. Bobby Flowers' unique and infectious sound has been home to many popular venues around the world such as Fela Kuti's New Afrika Shrine. He is a resident DJ for Heineken's branded Green Room Experience, Philly's premiere Caribbean dance party ISSA WHINE and can be heard on Dash Radio's LOUD Station as the co-host of UGLYBASS Unzipped. Bobby Flowers has created events such as HIPS, The Plantain Party, and Bey Day in celebration of blackness and music of the African diaspora. He has become a community advocate for inner city youth by generously providing mentorship for youth in public and private schools in the Philadelphia area as well as Lagos, Nigeria. In 2022, Bobby Flowers was made a Masterclass Instructor for UCLA’s Summer Music Industry Intensive. Blazing a trail of musical experimentation and collaborations has positioned Bobby Flowers on a path entering the global arena and setting it on fire.
