If it is your first time at Somewhere, the list of who gets stage time that evening will be with Jodi McDermitt, and the show starts at 8pm. First timers get 3 minutes on stage. Respect the time, audience, and other comedians. Looking to watch? Open Mic is a FREE show, and the doors open for seating at 5:00pm, and you seat yourself. Being a free show, Open Mic is used as a starting ground for many comics, as well as a place to practice new material for the veteran comedians. Some jokes may kill, others may bomb; but it's always a good time. Be sure to support those appearing on stage; it's not as easy as you think!
