In 2019 they decided to take their work to the stage, resulting in a mosaic of classical and traditional, jazz and funk, tunes from the Balkans to the Appalachians, mottled with improvisations from the deepest corners of their curiosity-driven brains. ********* Het Frans-Belgische duo Bipolar Bows ontstond uit een studieproject van violiste Lotte Remmen en cellist Toby Kuhn. Het startte als een uitdaging om zoveel mogelijk muziekstijlen te ontdekken en hun muzikale trukendoos te vervolledigen. Begin 2019 besloten ze om hun werk naar het podium te brengen. Het werd een mozaïek van klassiek en traditional, jazz, blues en funk, van Balkan tot Appalachians, doorspekt met improvisaties uit de diepste hoeken van hun creatieve zielen.
