Morris & Watson Biography
Morris & Watson are a folk duo based in Barnsley. Combining fiddle and guitar they have created a unique style of contemporary folk music, unlike anything else on the scene today. Their individual twist shines through both their arrangements of traditional tunes and the composition of original songs. Delving deep into the historical roots of their home town, they take inspiration from the industrial past of Northern England to create music that represents the heritage of that part of the country.
Having performed at some of the UK's favourite festivals such as; Bearded Theory, Beautiful Days, Watchet, Farmer Phil's, Something To Smile About and Whitwell Music Festival, they have continued to make an impressive imprint on the festival scene.
Their latest EP "Seeing Through Smoke" is available on CD and digital download on this website. With a second EP in the pipeline Morris & Watson are set to have a busy few years to come.
