The Big Cats Biography
Founded in the ashes of the early-90's Little Rock post-hardcore scene, the Big Cats have gone thru tragedy, redemption, moves, and success, yet still produce a unique sound that has been their trademark since day one.
Composed of members of various early-90's bands (Chino Horde, Five-0), the Big Cats are led by Burt Taggert, the Big Cats are currently composed of Joshua Bentley on the bass, Jason White (Green Day, Pinhead Gunpowder]]) on the guitar, and Colin Brooks (Dan Zanes, the Stills) behind the drum kit. On the first album (Worrisome Blues), Shannon Yarbrough served as guitarist and backup vocalist, however a tragic car accident took his life in May of 2000.
Albums include Worrisome Blues (Max Recordings, 2003) and On Tomorrow (Max Recordings, 2007).
