Michael Mayer Biography
Michael Mayer remains one of Germany's core figures in dance music. It's no secret that he spends his weekends traveling around the globe and then as a co-owner of Kompakt, puts his weekdays into the office overseeing the business and signing releases to the label. Beyond that he manages to find time to record in his studio - the latest being his 2017 collaborative full length "&" and a DJ Kicks mix. Michael Mayer has remixed hundreds of artists and bands over the years - a creative passion he loves to regularly embark upon and include some of his most influential acts of all time such as the Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode and Rufus Wainwright. It's safe to say he loves being challenged and regardless of the pressure, never puts anything less than 100% of his heart and soul into what he does.
