Torna in scena “ATOM HEART MOTHER” il capolavoro dei Pink Floyd uscito nel 1970.Protagonisti i Pink Floyd Legend che, dopo un primo set in cui suoneranno (nella loro classica formazione) alcuni tra i più grandi successi del gruppo britannico, riproporranno l'esecuzione integrale della celebre suite accompagnati dal Legend Choir oltre a una sezione orchestrale composta dagli Ottonidautore e dal Quartetto Sharareh (quartetto d’archi tutto al femminile) tutti diretti dal Maestro Giovanni Cernicchiaro.La realizzazione di Atom Heart Mother dal vivo è una produzione unica e speciale: dal 2012 i Pink Floyd Legend, infatti, sono i soli ad eseguire la lunga suite nella versione integrale accompagnati, come nell'originale, da Coro e Orchestra e già andata in scena, registrando ogni volta il "sold out" allo Sferisferio di Macerata, al Teatro Romano di Ostia Antica, al Blubar Festival di Francavilla al Mare e, ultimo in ordine di tempo al Teatro Arcimboldi di Milano.Atom Heart Mother, le cui partiture orchestrali furono scritte dal giovane compositore sperimentale Ron Geesin, si snoda attraverso straordinarie combinazioni tra musica classica e rock, alternando momenti pervasi da eleganti melodie ad altri di pura potenza sinfonica: Atom è considerato il disco della maturità e un punto di svolta nel percorso artistico per i Pink Floyd che abbandonano la psichedelia in nome del progressive rock.Come tutte le produzioni firmate Pink Floyd Legend, le oltre due ore di musica si avvarranno di un incredibile disegno luci e di sorprendenti effetti scenografici che, uniti alla fedeltà degli arrangiamenti, all'utilizzo di strumentazione vintage, ai video dell’epoca proiettati su schermo circolare di 5 metri, ad Algie il grande maiale gonfiabile, ai costumi di scena, ai laser, ricreano quel senso di spettacolo totale per vivere un'indimenticabile “Floyd Experience”.Le date18 novembre Milano, Teatro Dal Verme - Posticipato al 26 novembre19 novembre Milano, Teatro Dal Verme - Posticipato al 27 novembre5 dicembre Sanremo, Teatro Ariston6 e 7 dicembre Torino, Teatro Colosseo10 dicembre Firenze, Teatro Verdi21 febbraio 2020 Legnano, Teatro Galleria

‘Wish you were here’; experiencing ‘Floyd’ back in the year 1979.
Specializing in the Roger Waters era, Atom Heart Mother is not just another Pink Floyd tribute band. They are a musical love letter, written to the fans of one of rocks most important bands during a period of time when psychedelia and rock and roll creativity reigned supreme.
Atom Heart Mother is comprised of a squadron of experienced musicians – seven to be exact –all of which share a strong connection to the songs. Originally formed in 2009, they quickly became known for their sonic devotion and accuracy. The goal of the band, is to convey the majesty of the original Pink Floyd band, focusing on the era before the core band fractured.
The band has a strong respect for the Pink Floyd fan base - and being fans themselves, they focus on the elements and sounds that make music fans gravitate towards their music.
If you weren’t able to experience Pink Floyd back in the 70s, or if you just wish that you could relive the experience, Atom Heart Mother tries to capture that experience.
