Biografie Man könnte annehmen, dass der am 26. August 1982 gebürtige Schweizer schon als DJ und Produzent auf die Welt gekommen ist. Mit 13 Jahren begeisterte ihn das DJ dasein. Seine ersten öffentlichen Auftritte folgten zwei Jahre später. In diversen Clubs der Schweiz konnte er sein Talent immer wieder unter Beweis stellen. Schon bald wurden auch grössere Clubs und Veranstalter auf den Artist aufmerksam. Dadurch konnte er regelmäßige und grösser werdende Auftritte bestreiten. Seine Musikliebe galt zu seinen Anfängen dem Trance, da er sich mit diesen Melodien identifizieren konnte. Schon kurze Zeit später konnte man seine eigenen Songs auf diversen CD Compilations hören und auch eigene Vinyls des DJs wurden erwerbbar. Der grösste Erfolg war damals die eigene Produktion auf der Energy03 Live CD zu platzieren. Jetzt wurden auch die grössten Clubs und Veranstalter wie OXA, Club Q, Energy, Motion, Sonic, Mythos etc...auf den DJ aufmerksam. Die Medien wurden so auf den DJ aufmerksam. Folglich war er eine Stunde auf VIVA-TV zu hören und sehen. Kurz darauf wurde ihm vom OXA eine Residency angeboten. Nun legte er in den erfolgreichsten Schweizer Clubs auf. Zusätzlich kamen die ersten Auftritte im Ausland dazu. Die Discoteca Shock! In Turin, Altromondo Studios in Rimini und Clubs in Deutschland, Österreich und Frankreich. Ende 2006 wechselte er seinen bisherigen Musikstil zu House und Electro. Parallell dazu gründete er sein eigenes Partylabel Be Electro welches sich bis heute einem grossen Bekanntheitsgrad erfreut. Weitere internationale Auftritte im Carnaby in Rimini, Tropics & Bumpers in Lloret de Mar und Zapata in Stuttgart folgten. Im Jahre 2008 brachte der DJ mit einer Event-Compilation seinen ersten Silberling auf den Schweizer Markt. Anfang 2010 änderte sich der Name auf den heute bekannten Namen DJ Mark Main. Die schweizer Agentur Artistcorner GmbH welche Remady, Mr.Da-Nos oder Mr. P!nk sowie internationale Stars wie Bushido, Sido, Tomekk, Adbel, Fatman Scoop, Mousse T und viele andere unter den Fittichen hatten nahmen DJ Mark Main per 1.1.2010 unter Vertrag. Im Anschluss spielte er regelmässig an den besten Schweizer Events wie der Energy, Starhouse, Kingshouse und Touch Me Events, an Oster-, Pfings- und Summerendfestivals, Touch the Air, Touch the Lake, auf dem Lovemobile an der Streetparade, Bar & Pub Festival Wetzikon, jährlich am Openair Gampel und vielen weiteren Highlights. Auch international kann sich mittlerweile das Portefolio von DJ Mark Main sehen lassen. Dazu gehören inzwischen Clubs wie das Baia Imperiale in Rimini, welches zu den grössten Clubs weltweit gehört, das Altro Mondo Studio oder in Lloret de Mar das Tropics, Moef Gaga, X-Tra, Privée de Magic und Bumpers. Auch der SupperClub sowie das Supperclub Cruise in Amsterdam konnte sich schon mehreren seiner Sets erfreuen. Zlaty Strom in Prag, Top10 in Deutschland und Hemmingway Club in Kroatien waren weitere Stationen. Aktuell ist DJ Mark Main jedes Wochenende ausgebucht und spielt als Headliner nebst DJ Grössen wie Mike Candys, Remady, Sir Colin, Christopher S, Jack Holiday uva.. Während der gesamten Zeit entstanden im Studio immer wieder neue Songs welche es auf namhafte Compilations schafften. Unter anderem steuerte Mark Main den offiziellen Remix zum Smash-Hit von Mr.Da-Nos „One Nation“ bei, der von sämtlichen Radiostationen gespielt wurde. Im Jahre 2014 drehte Mark Main aber noch mal richtig auf und spielte an sämtlichen namhaften EDM Festivals wie Isle of Dreams, Mystery Park Festival oder Cubik sowie Grossanlässen wie Bar & Pubfestivals oder Barstreet Luzern & Bern vor über 6000 Menschen. Mitte März erscheint eine von Ihm gemixte, schweizweit bekannte, Compilation mit eigenen Songs. DJ Mark Main hat den Weg zu Lacave-records gefunden und verfügt nun über ein professionelles Team, um die Karierreleiter weiter nach oben zu steigen! Seine neuste Single This is Human schaffte soeben den Einstieg in die deutschen Dance Charts. Biographie (englisch) One could assume that the Swiss, Marcel Dominic Zimmerli, was born already as a DJ and music producer. Already in the age of 13 he was fascinated what DJ‘s did, and two years later he had his first public performances in various cubs in Switzerland. Soon afterwards also bigger Clubs and organizers discoverd him and recognised his talent. By that time his favourite style of music was Trance because he could identify himself with this. After a short time own songs on various CD compilations and own vinyls were available. The biggest success by that time was the own production on the Energy03 Life CD. After this first success the biggest clubs and organizers like OXA, Club Q Energy, Motion, Sonic, Mythos etc. became aware of him an he had a one hour gig on VIVA TV. Shortly after that he received a residency at the OXA. From this time on he performed in the most successful clubs in Switzerland and got the first gigs abroad: Discoteca Shock! in Torino, Altromondo Studios in Rimini und other clubs in Germany, Austria and France. By the end of 2006 he changed his his style of music to House and Electro, in addition he established his own party label Be Electro, which is still well known today. In 2010 he changed his name to DJ Mark Main and the Swiss agency Artistcorner GmbH offered him a contract. From now on he performed regularly at the greatest Swiss Events like the Energy, Starhouse, Kingshouse and Touch me Events, at various seasonal festivals like Touche the Air, Touch the Lake, on a lovemobile at the Streetparade, Bar & Pub Festival in Wetzikon, Openair Gampel and at many more highlights.
