2003 Australia, the infamous Bass Agents formed. Comprising of Hoong (Mr.Nasty) and Nick (Ganjaguru), this DJ duo formed shortly after the birth of Hardstyle. They had a mission - to bring that banging Hard Dance sound to Malaysia and the region. They pioneered and introduced Hardstyle to the locals, creating a cult-like following for their merchandise and monthly full-house parties. In fact, Bass Agents hoodies can still be seen around the world, with punters wearing them to Bass Agents shows religiously. Since then, the Bass Agents have frequently headlined at local festivals and have supported top international Hardstyle DJs visiting Malaysia. Like the unstoppable bass line, their undeniable force and influence has earned the Bass Agents numerous awards such as Martell’s Rising Personalities 2007, KLue Magazine 20 under 40, JUICE Magazine 2005 Best New Local DJ, EDMdroid.com #1 Coolest DJ 2013 and #2 Coolest DJ 2014. Their recognition boomed in 2010, when the Bass Agents were the first South East Asian DJs to be featured at the Qdance event, In-Qontrol in Amsterdam.
