About this concert
Step into the Steampunk Gothic world of illustrator Nicola Milan and meet her collection of long-necked uber freaks with high end manners and costumes to match.
From uber snobbish aristocrats, to vampires, carnivorous plants and dark creatures from another time, this fully interactive art exhibition will have lovers of historical fantasy, vampiric folklore and all things Tim Burton squealing with delight!
Enjoy live performances from psychedelic electro-pop artist Housey Maine and jazz-trip hop artist Nicola Milan herself, along with visual dark poetry readings.
Dress to impress and win a prize for best dressed, indulge in the array of spider cupcakes and vampire blood cocktails as you sleuth your way through the riddles to find the hidden treasure.
For one night only, this is an art exhibition… with a twist, that you won’t want to miss!
FINE PRINT:
Treasure Hunt winner is drawn after the dark poetry reading and you must be there to win the prize.
Prizes will be drawn for best dressed female and male.
Live performances are featured ‘shows’ during the exhibition. Some seating will be provided

Nicola Milan Biography
Nicola Milan performs a riotous blend of original jazz, blues and upbeat folk mixed with modern grooves, wrapped in silky vocals.
Sounding like Caro Emerald meets The Cat Empire, Miss Milan transports you back to a dark and salacious time when cabarets were smoky, dangerous and filled with underworld mobsters, dirty martinis, and deadly women.
With songs about lust, love and temptation, Milan's music takes influence from notorious characters throughout history, movies from the Golden Era and parties straight from the Roaring Twenties.
Milan returned to the sunny shores of Perth in 2017 after a year performing abroad in London and has released new singles 'Big House', ‘The Worst For Me’, ‘Like The Last Time’ and is soon to record a new EP. She returns to London every 6 to 12 months to perform.
Signed to ORiGiN Music Publishing Australia, Nicola also illustrates aristocratic Gothic/Steampunk characters , is an award winning cartoonist, co-wrote and illustrated her hilarious book 'Monster-in-Law: A Survival Guide' , blogs about things that go bump in the night, and shares cover music videos and spooky poems on her YouTube Channel (@nicolamilan).
