Nacht Biography
Nacht is one of two different recording artists. Both are dark ambient solo projects.
1) Nacht (France) is a ritual dark ambient project by Vultur, who was also member of the french black metal bands Carpathia, Vamphyr, Wolfhammer, Thunder, Pagan Storm, Funeral Cult, and Midnight Fullmoon. Her real name was Alexya Varney. She commited suicide in September 2006.
2) Nacht (Norway) is dark ambient by multi-media artist Tanja Stene. She has now changed the name to NCHT, to separate the past from the present and future. Her new stuff is more experimental and noisy. Previously from Aghast. So far, Nacht has only released tracks on compilation albums. Tanja Stene is also known from the cover paintings of Bergtatt,Nattens Madrigal, Hlidskjalf. She took official pictures of a.o. Isengard and Thorns.
