Beyond Forgiveness Biography
Beyond Forgiveness is a U.S. based, Symphonic Metal band hailing from
Colorado Springs, CO. Starting as a dream project by Former Hell's Eden
members Greg Witwer and Richard Marcus, Beyond Forgiveness brings a
unique melding of multiple metal genres with classical and folk
influenced orchestration and a contrast of alluring, operatic singing
and traditional, guttural vocals.
Officially founded in 2008, Beyond Forgiveness played in and around
the Colorado Springs area for a number of years and in 2014 began recording
an EP with production ultimately ceasing after the departure of singer
Lynn Brown. After a short hiatus, Greg and Rich revived the band, bringing
back drummer Michael Bulach and recruiting former Anadies keyboardist Talia Hoit
as the new singer after hearing a recording of “Angels” by
Within Temptation and “O mio babbino caro” from the opera Gianni Schicchi.
After the departure of their keyboardist and Talia taking over the
composition duties, Beyond Forgiveness finally settled in as a 4-piece
and began writing for their first EP A Ferryman's Shore which
was released in the Spring of 2016. That same year, the band brought in
former Tribes of Asher drummer Sean Rogers and quickly began writing new
material for their first full length album The Great Wall which is
due for release in the Summer of 2017.
