About this concert
Durham County Poets nous offre un blues-folk vivant et riche pour l’âme avec une bonne dose de gospel et de swing. Originaire de la région du sud-ouest de la Montérégie et de plus en plus présents sur la scène canadienne et américaine, le groupe profite de son troisième passage à Châteauguay pour lancer un nouvel album. Un pur moment de joie de vivre à prévoir!
Dirigé par Kevin Harvey, un crooner blues auto-proclamé (voix) avec David Whyte (guitare électrique et voix), Neil Elsmore (guitare et voix), Carl Rufh (basse et voix) et Rob Couture (batterie et percussion).

The Poets are: Dave Whyte guitars; Carl Rufh upright bass; Neil Elsmore guitars; Jim Preimel percussion; Kevin Harvey vocals.
Together over 115 years experience or so.
We have played and do play in blues bands,gospel group, rock and even yes dare I say, country bands. Always with passion, but playing other peoples songs. Now we come together to offer our own material, a mix of sounds and stories. Some songs lying dormant for over a decade, others newborn.
