Cannella

New York born and raised, Cannella is a citizen of the world. He now seeks to take his passion for music to the next level. A student of music from age four, he is Masters prepared from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Cannella earned an esteemed fellowship at the Henry Mancini Institute. A classically trained percussionist, he has performed with numerous orchestras and bands worldwide, including gigs in Colombia, S.A; Greece; Ireland and an eight-week stint in Trinidad and Tobago. He has studied diverse areas of music, such as; Afro-Cuban, jazz, marimba, steel and Uruguayan hand drumming, and classical music with world-renowned educators. He has accompanied numerous Grammy nominated and winning artists. Cannella’s extensive musical chops set a unique precedent in today’s music.

Cannella’s music embodies this maxim. The musical intellect he possesses shines through his productions, which stem from his classical roots. His unique productions create rich harmonic textures and progressions. Rhythmically fused percussion and unique melodic motifs all come together to make a symphonic cochlear experience that is irresistible to the ear.
