Een grote cast van dansers en acteurs brengt in deze beeldende, poëtische mozaïekvoorstelling een universum van kleine, herkenbare verhalen tot leven, vol grote gevoelens op de vierkante millimeter. 38 gewone mensen doen gewone dingen. Ze draaien een lamp in, bekijken een schilderij of ontdekken een grijze haar. Ze halen een jeugdherinnering op, wachten op een hotelkamer of kibbelen op een bedrijfsborrel. Maar in het toneelstuk Vorher/Nachher laat de Duitse schrijver Roland Schimmelpfennig in al die levens iets heel kleins verschuiven, waardoor ze nooit meer hetzelfde zullen zijn.
