Kid Computer

Kid Computer is a supersonic indie rock band from Kansas City, MO that was started by coming of age midwesterners, fascinated with bedroom pop and home recording while still holding onto their roots in loud guitars. Broncho, Hippo Campus, Grouplove and The Strokes are some heroes that have fueled Kid Computer’s songwriting and production journey. The band consists of George McMillian (lead vocals/guitar), Matt Gore (guitar/synth/supporting vocals), Bill Jones (bass/supporting vocals), and Dalton Grenier (drums).

Given the challenging nature of love, anxiety, the well-being of the world and spiritual awakening, there has been plenty of material to discuss lyrically. Cafe Vertical Garden (Kid Computer's debut album) explores an idealistic place where occupants are allowed to be comfortable while unpacking the pleasantries (and unpleasantries) of life. Each track on CVG is an acknowledgement of lessons learned or treasures cherished all written over the past 3 years.
