Jordan Klassen

Jordan Klassen is an internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia. He has toured extensively worldwide during his 11 year career throughout Europe, Australia, Canada and the US. Known for his well-crafted arrangements and nuanced songwriting his sound is often compared to the likes of Sufjan Stevens, The Shins, and Nick Drake.

From there he has steadily built his fanbase by opening for well-established artists such as Rhye, Lindi Ortega, Half Moon Run, Silversun Pickups, Whitney, Husky, and Dear Rouge and by garnering a significant radioplay and licensing history. His career has shifted seamlessly into the streaming world with almost 15 mil- lion streams worldwide. Although his music falls on the more artistic side of the singer/songwriter landscape he has had radio success across all mediums garnering airplay on Canadian modern rock radio, reaching #1 on the CBC Radio Top 20, #46 on the Earshot overall College Radio Chart (Canada), and peaking at #5 on alter- native radio in Austria. His single “Housefly” was in rotation on BBC Radio London, and the follow up single “Dominika” peaked at #8 on Radio FM 4 Austria.

The cinematic nature of his music has also lead to a great deal of success in the world of licensing through his current and former publishers; Arts & Crafts Music Publishing and Kobalt Music Group respectively. His many prominent placements in film and TV including synch credits on Nashville, American Idol, Teen Wolf, Bell Mobility, EA Sports MLB 2018 video game, and having a feature track for the trailer of the film “The Sense of an Ending”.
