Run The Asylum

For nearly three years, Run The Asylum out of Dallas has been bringing their heavy music to venues across Texas and Oklahoma, and reaching audiences globally online. Cousins Michael [guitar] and Josh [drums] first started jamming in high school and always wanted to start a metal band.

In 2015, Michael and Andrew [guitar] connected in a musicians forum and started writing the foundation for a full album. Their writing similarity made an instant connection and helped develop the complex melodies found in their music. Bryson [bass], previously a member of a professional band, joined in on Bass.

After more than a year of testing out different vocalists, Nick completed the group and helped drive the songs into cohesive pieces of art.

Run The Asylum currently has three hard-hitting singles out, full of intricate instrumental work and aggressive vocals. Plans to release more music are in place for 2020 and the band is seeking out more performance opportunities around the US.
