The Poet Biography

Below are excerpts from The Poet’s upcoming book entitled: “The Articles: The Pursuit of Happiness vs. The Defeat of Fear”. Enter the mind of The Poet as he takes you away from the common consciousness of life’s struggles and provokes you to think outside the box. The following work is copyrighted. No one to paint a clear picture for us to visualize. That very moment we need to continuing dreaming until we have reached our final destination. Those who can provide evidence first hand of the struggles and scars it took to evolve their faith. The faith that covers like little particles of sand but large enough to cover from here to there. But there are none in my generation. In my generation -The Poet --------------------------------------- Free Me Free me from the drugs that stopped the people in their tracks. From getting high off wanting to be the change of the world. Great leaders washed away because of their wishes to be kings of the world. Lost memories, triggered by pictures in history books, which were taken from the place where we should go back to look and say our grace. A long deep glance at what took place to replace the crown that we still search for today. A crown replace by a materialistic bait that will cause most to lose faith. Soon falling to their face wanting to be erased. Erase of the glooming feelings of loving to hate. Hating what is in the inside because they were tricked to say: Black is dirty and black is not safe. Next leading to prayers of Free me. -The Poet ------------------------------------- Just Because Your In The Ghetto Does Not Mean You Cant Grow But just because you’re in the ghetto dont mean you cant grow. Stand tall and remember that if you can see it, next believe it, and soon you shall receive it. Learn how to wait for the night to escape and bring forth a sunnier day. Gloomy days come and go. Never stop growing deeper than what they thought you didn't know. Surrounded by crack, guns, and crime causes a strain that may cause you to seem cripple. Ignore the hype, turn up your mic and let your freedom ring. From every ghetto throughout the world. From the slums of Chicago, to the back streets of Atlanta, GA. To the barbershops in Harlem that represent the corner stone of every neighborhood. The only place where you will find a preacher, dope dealer, teacher, trapper, drug fiend, and school kids in one place. -The Poet --------------------------------------------- You’re So Hospitable Many different faces, with many different cases. Some will never understand, the message that I'm stating. Stand tall no matter what your facing. Sickness, death or even more rare traces. Drawn out by those who are good of replacing. Good fruit with bad seeds, that multi-change us . Plenty different masses, dividing us into classes. Only few ever master, the ultimate disaster. So small we cant see it, but so big we cant beat it. Your so hospitable, when it comes to stuff like this. Stuff you have to trust. Lock it up and throw away the key. Stuff that shouldn’t defeat us. Your so hospitable when it comes to stuff like this. -The Poet -------------------------------------------------------------- Still Cant Believe My Brother Gone This life on Earth can be tough, and cause heartaches and pains. But every once in a while, it makes you break a smile. It's hard but I know it was your time. Soaring in the sky towards the clouds. Then making it safely into his gates. Looking down on your father, smiling telling him don’t let up. You see everyone looking up like Vic I won't let up. When I die I hope I live in the sky. Until then my brother, one day I'll catch up. -The Poet -------------------------------------------------------------- Changing the world one word at a time..
