The Dead Love

2019 has been a huge year for The Dead Love!So far this year the band has signed to US label ADVENTURE CAT RECORDS, SELECT MUSIC, they’ve landed a string of killer supports including The Story So Far, Basement, DZ Deathrays and Stand Atlantic, their underdog anthem ‘Anyway’ garnered strong Triple J and Spotify support grabbing the Spotify Rock Out feature cover alongside a bunch of other solid playlist additions. Follow up single PICK ME UP showed no signs of them slowing down, the clip for PMU premiered on Rock Sound UK June 20th , it’s release day following it was added to Spotify playlists New Music Friday AU NZ, Rock Out and Local Noise as cover feature and was both played and playlisted on Triple J’ Short Fast Loud!July saw the band bag a completely SOLD OUT Australian east coast headline tour, they’ve been announced on 2019’s BIGSOUND FESTIVAL and just wrapped a national main support slot in August with pop punk heavy weights Yours Truly. August 2nd The band released their new album THE EXTINCTION OF UNICORNS to instant fanfare! The album debuted 13 on the AIR charts and opening track Young & Dysfunctional took the bands Spotify playlisting into international waters being featured on New Music Friday, NewNoise, Rock Out, All New Rock, The Scene. Local Noise and New Punk Tracks – less than a month into the release the album has clocked one million streams.September/October will see TDL head to the UK/EU for a string of dates with ROAM before returning for a national Headline tour in November to support their new album THE EXTINCTION OF UNICORNS presented by SELECT MUSIC, YOUNG HENRYS and ADVENTURE CAT RECORDS…..It’s fair to say things are stepping up for these “Punk Grunge” characters, and rightfully so!
