About this concert
If you thought our House of Freaks party last year was fun, you won't want to miss this one! Think of how you can dress up as an animal. Costume contest again this year, and of course live music and interactive art installations. This is your take on a "masquerade," but you can wear a full mask, half mask, paint your face, or just put on a pair of bunny ears. Think outside of the box, you party animals!!
This will be a highly curated, slammin' animal-themed party that is basically like one of those house parties in any of those 90s teen flicks, but obviously with people dressed as animals, more sex appeal, and better music.
We sold out last year and had to turn a lot of people away, so make sure you get a ticket before October 26th.
Here are all of the details you might need to know prior to coming:
Location: Secret Location in San Diego TBA
Date: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26th
Time: Doors open at 730pm. Door Prizes for the first 50 people
Transportation: Please Uber/Lyft as parking is limited and the alcohol will be flowing and we want you getting home safe and sound.
Dress: The theme is Animalia! Bust out your best animal costumes! There will be a costume contest again this year, so if you love going all out, we have prizes for the winning costumes!
Tickets: If you would like to invite more friends, we are opening it up to anyone you think would add value to the party...until we are sold out. Come on in, the water's fiiiiiine!
ENTERTAINMENT: We will have live music with Indie Electro artist Roses for Joanne, DJ Duo Workhorse, DJ Ollie Red, & Simone Glad b2b. There will be many areas with interactive art installations created by local mad genius artist Beardsalad, super creative Carroll&Barrie, and yours truly. We will also have a unique group photo booth set up. So, practice your beautiful smiles in the mirror. We also have a caricature artist doing live portraits of you in your beautiful animal costumes from 7:30pm-1030pm. Arrive early so you get your keepsake from the party! Portraits will be printed and can be emailed.
FOOD + ALCOHOL: We will have a bar. Slinging out water and smiles for free. There will be local vendors selling some simple, easy to eat foods.
TO BRING: Pretend this is a party at your best friend's house (because it essentially is) so please use the same discretion and respect you would at a simple house party. If you are debating on inviting that friend who gets rowdy and you have to babysit, please don't. We are all just looking for a good time...which you will get, but please let's keep it kosher, so nothing can diminish the party gods from bestowing us an awesome night of memorable enjoyment.
Please contact us with any questions/or if you need costume suggestions.
