Evertim Biography

Evertim are a high energy emo / pop punk band from Brighton, UK. Despite having only formed in 2015, they were quick to establish a distinctive sound having taken inspiration from Moose Blood, Jimmy Eat World and Modern Baseball. The four piece met after repeatedly seeing each other at local shows when Alex Tuck (Vocals, guitar) decided to form a band. With their common interest in the scene Evertim comprising of Alex, Ben Foxhall (Lead guitar), Phoebe Constable (Bass) and Georgia Challinor (Drums) didn't waste any time in hitting the studio to record debut single 'Town Red' which lead them to be compared to the likes of The Wonder Years and Say Anything.

However, this is not your average pop punk band. As Evertim bounce around onstage captivating the attention of any audience, they offer a sense of youthful spirit and enthusiasm. They come across confident and are refreshingly held together by a five foot female rhythm section. By January 2016 the band released second single 'When you Come Home' an infectious crowd favourite for chanting the lyrics "still broken and alone". Having had numerous support slots under their belts (Fiends, h_ngm_n, fruitcake and chapter of wolves) by their fifth show Evertim were already headlining venues in the South Coast.

Summer 2016 is set to see the release of the band's debut EP produced by Richard Dack (ROAM, The Holiday + smallpondbigfish) featuring emo anthem 'Bring out the Black'. It will also include singles 'Extreme Phil Shaw' (named after a computer game) and 'Second Bite' with an instrumental sound that emulates Paramore's 'RIOT!'. Evertim's name originally came from an Internet meme, however it's clear that this band is not joking around.
