Groovy Hoovy

Groovy Hoovy is from a suburb near the city of Cleveland, Ohio. A fan of all types of music, Hoovy found his love in the production of hip-hop in late 2016, just before he graduated high school. He started pursuing a career in the music industry later the next year in 2017 by attending Tri-c to get a music production degree. Hoovy, then age 18, started producing tracks and releasing them. While attending school for music production, Hoovy performs at local venues within the Cleveland area and has a studio set up in his home allowing him to make music himself, and help other local artists in the area do the same. Hoovy grew up listening to rock bands such as Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sublime while listening to the major hip-hop influencers like Eminem, 50 cent, Snoop Dogg, and Wiz Khalifa. Hoovy aims for a new sound in his music and tries to give the listener a look at life from his perspective. Groovy Hoovy hopes to grow and evolve in the future and is constantly looking to learn along the way.
