About this concert
Andy Nelson – A singer songwriter from the Central West Region of NSW, bringing with him his debut album “Man on the Mountain”, which was recorded and produced by renowned producer Syd Green, in the living room of a rustic farmhouse in NSW’s Kangaroo Valley. Having been on the live music scene for only a couple of years, he has captured the imaginations of audiences around the country with his lyrics - woven into a lavish tapestry of sound, bringing the emotional impact of his words and the rich sounds of his composition to a rugged, musical plain of his own making.
Supported by Rose Zita Falko, and graciously accompanied by the beautiful sounds of Tom Brooks. Fuelled by a love of storytelling, and songs that reflect an understanding of “lifescapes” of both city and country - her music has been tagged as ‘western noir’ with an added description of Americana rawness meets sophisticated jazz and soul tones.

Falko wears it well
Fuelled by a love of story telling, Rose Zita Falko’s music has been tagged as ‘western noir’ with an added description of Americana rawness meets sophisticated jazz and soul tones.
There is no archetypal Rose Zita Falko song, her songs range from a quiet soulful meander through to upbeat toe-tapping sing-alongs. With a passon for performing and songwriting, the past few years has seen this Australian based artist release her debut EP ‘Original Son’ to critical acclaim, tour across Australia and perform at an array of national festivals including; TCMF, Festival of King Island, Brunswick Music fest plus many more. On top of her busy performing schedule Rose Zita Falko has travelled nationally and internationally to attend renowned songwriting retreats and be mentored by some of the industry's finest. Her next venture will be her debut album to be released in early 2021.
‘Heavenly Father’ left me still, silent and overwhelmed. I will always remember sitting in a caravan with Rose when she played me this song on her guitar. Every now and then a true artiste brings a sound and attitude that is alluring and knowing. Rose has many skills and uses them subtly but when you least expect it her playful vocal demands every bit of your attention, much like a young KD Lang. Poetic, poised, and powerful - I’m a fan.
