About this concert
New Orleans-based, Americana/Alt-Country group Ever More Nest is touring back through in September. Their debut album, The Place That You Call Home, was recently nominated for Best Alt-Country Album in the Independent Music Awards, and the band has had notable tour stops this year including at the Kennedy Center and Milwaukee's Summerfest.
Ever More Nest will be performing as a duo on this September run. Much like the album, Ever More Nest’s live performance features the emotive, authentic voice of lead singer/songwriter Kelcy Mae accompanied by the soulful, shimmering guitar work and heart-rending harmonies of Dave DeCotiis.
Produced by 2018 Grammy-nominated producer Neilson Hubbard (Mary Gauthier), the album poses the universal question: “Just where do I belong?” According to Folk Radio UK, “The answer is clearly in any discerning Americana CD collection.” No Depression calls the project "brilliant" and Country Standard Time calls it a "can't-miss recording."

Ever More Nest Biography
Soaring, river delta Alt-Country that builds houses of emotion across a warm and lonely landscape. Rooted in Southern musical traditions and infused with confessional 90s angst, the music of Ever More Nest can likewise lull and rock you right off a front porch. Ever More Nest’s dynamic, homegrown voice—hugged by lush, church-pew harmonies—is complemented by ghostly, effusive guitars, spirited mandolin and banjo, mournful fiddle, and a rhythm section steady as a country train. Based in New Orleans and led by songwriter Kelcy Mae Wilburn, Ever More Nest plays a variety of listening environments across the country, from festivals and performing arts centers to listening rooms and clubs.
