Since forming in 1999, Pound For Pound have proven themselves to be one of the hardest working hardcore bands in the Midwest. Pound For Pound borrow elements of New York hardcore and metal while managing to create a unique feel of their own. Combined with bleak lyrics, the band’s music provides an angst-filled soundtrack for the broken and the beaten. After a brief hiatus, Pound for Pound is back with a new string section and on the brink of releasing a new demo and a split 7". They are hopping on as many shows as possible and itching to get back on the road. There are also talks of having a new full length as soon as early 2014.
