Op deze dag zijn zowel jonge talenten als gevestigde namen te zien bij Orpheus. Alle generaties zijn vertegenwoordigd in zowel artiesten als publiek. Met slechts 1 ticket kunt u genieten van maar liefst 16 optredens van 14 verschillende jazzformaties!
De programmering is verdeeld over 6 podia
U kunt een divers programma met een mooie mix van stijlen en generaties verwachten! De headliners zijn het NJJO & Maarten Hogenhuis, Peter Beets & the Henk Meutgeert New Jazz Orchestra en Dulfer & Hoorweg. Daarnaast kunt u genieten van o.a. Coal Harbour, ZILT, Jan Terlouw Jr., Anna Serierse en de Raad van Toezicht.

Sietske and band - contemporary vocal jazz with singer-songwriter influences

In the words of Frank Huser (Jazzflits) on their first album "Where it starts again" brought out by Berthold Records and Do Right! Japan. The band is an Amsterdam based international formation consisting of vocalist Sietske Roscam Abbing (NL), pianist Dirk Balthaus (DE, guitarist Eran Har Even (ISR) bass player Marco Zenini (IT) and drummer Efraim Schulz-Wackerbarth (AUS/D). The project exists in its current formation since 2012.

This line is being continued on their second album in which the five musicians find a new balance between challenging and complementing each other within the layered arrangements of new original compositions, leading to a colourful landscape which seduces, entrances and surprises...
