3AM Biography
Tim Renton: guitars and other stringed instruments and songwriting. Played in many 70’s rock bands including Reign and the original Wombles with Robin Le Mesurier.
Chris Parren: keyboards and musical arrangements. Chris is a professional session musician - worked and toured with The Strawbs and James Burton; recorded with many Artists - including Maggie Bell, Hudson-Ford, Jim Capaldi, Judy Tzuke. Also done a stretch or two as MD for The Rocky Horror Show in Piccadilly, and starred and played in 70’s TV hit “Rock Follies”.
Phil Evans: bass. Inspired by early success (age 17) with a Boulevard single at No 3 in the Sound Rock Charts, Phil’s now played with dozens of rock and blues bands in the UK and abroad, several years gigging and touring with neo-classical metal band September Gun. More recently working with local bands Licor & Poker, The Air Hillares and on singer/songwriter Syion’s latest album.
Laura Long: singer/songwriter. Delivers sexy soulful lyrics across musical genres that encapsulate the very best of rock and soul with a bluesy vibe. An electrifying performer who truly loves engaging with the audience, she has been with 3am since 2010.
Jamie Fisher: drums. Has played with original artists Sphere³, Santo El Diablo, Melbourne, Pick Up Sticks, Celloman. He can also occasionally be spotted playing for Kiss & Tell Cabaret, The Incredibly Strange Film Band, and Samantha Fox.
