Will Hill

Will Hill, a Chicago native raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, remembers little from his childhood aside from music. His mother and sister exposed him to a wide range of artists including Outkast, Curren$y and Prince -- all of whom helped shape his eclectic musical taste. At a young age, Will Hill developed a love for writing lyrics and beat boxing at his mother’s kitchen table. Encouraged by a relative in the music industry, he pursued rap every chance he could, even practicing his rhymes on his friend’s karaoke machine.

In his freshman year computer class, Will Hill and his friends realized they could create a decent musical sound. He soon teamed up with one classmate, Fernando Garcia, to start the rap group “LL2”, named for their freshman year class. In hopes of creating a new sound, they began to record their only mixtape, Burbs&Words, in Will Hill’s home. The group was short lived, but he continued to pursue his music and hone his craft. Eventually, he collaborated with fellow music lover, Perry, to produce the song “Money Talk”. Will Hill and Fernando later met Perrion and became members of H.O.M.E. (High Off Music Entertainment) based out of New York.

Will Hill’s versatile style can fit to any beat and tempo of music. He prides himself on his various rhythmic flows, adaptable musical beats, and lyrical content. On May 2011, he released both the mixtape entitled, “Pre-SG”, a prequel to his debut album, “Simplistic Greatness”, which was also dropped in the same month.
