Adam Franklin Biography
Adam Franklin (born 1994 in Northampton, England) started playing the piano at the age of 8 years old and grew up in three different countries - England, France and Austria.
After initially hating the piano Adam soon came to enjoy classical music and continued having tuition until the age of 19.
The discovery of his voice came about in 2011 on a school trip to Ochsenhausen in Germany. Pupils had to record a song and after encouragement from friends Adam ended up singing the lead vocals. This awoke his passion for singing and within weeks he began to write songs. He also bought a cheap home studio setup and taught himself how to record using the internet and YouTube (Recording Revolution).
Adam has been studying music at Plymouth University since September 2015 and released a 4 track EP called Satellites in March 2016.
He plans to self-release an full length album in 2017.
