Michael James Wheeler Biography
Singer-Songwriter Michael James Wheeler originally hails from Vermont. With stints in Montreal, New Zealand, Montreal, GA, Key West, Colorado, Wisconsin, & Kentucky– where he was named “hands down, one of the finest WKY singer-songwriters going at the moment” (News4U)– the road-tested troubadour now calls Nashville home.
2017 marked Wheeler’s solo debut with Sunbeams All Twisted— a mostly stripped-down acoustic collection of Mike’s lyric-heavy Americana numbers.
Wheeler signed with Pacific Records in 2021 to release his debut LP, Roll Another Dime.
Recently, Michael opened for James Taylor and Jackson Browne at the Pechanga Arena’s Stella Artois Lounge. Michael’s latest single, “Bottle in the Carriage” was released in support of his upcoming LP — produced by Grammy-winning studio engineer, Rob Eaton.
“I’m so excited to be working with Michael. His excellent songwriting abilities coupled with his impressive voice and live performance skills are second to none.” – Brian Witkin, CEO of Pacific Records
