We are looking forward to joining our friends for another summer of fun! ---Judy Roberts GREG FISHMAN Saxophonist and flutist Greg Fishman is an accomplished performer, recording artist, author, teacher and clinician. Born in Chicago in 1967, he began playing professionally at age fourteen. Greg graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a degree in Jazz Performance, and earned his Master’s Degree in Jazz Pedagogy from Northwestern University. He is among the foremost experts on the music of Stan Getz. Greg has toured and performed worldwide with his own group, and with such artists as the Woody Herman Band, Louis Bellson, Slide Hampton, Conte Candoli, Lou Levy, Clark Terry, Jackie and Roy, Don Menza, Ira Sullivan, Jeremy Monteiro, Jimmy Heath, Lou Donaldson, Harry Allen, Jeff Hamilton, Eddie Higgins, and Benny Golson. Greg's quartet CD, ""New Journey,"" received four stars in Downbeat and charted nationally in the top 50 for radio airplay. His latest CD, ""So You Say,"" features famed LA saxophonist, Doug Webb. In addition to clubs and concerts in the U.S., Greg has been featured at the Concord- Fujitsu jazz festival in Japan, the NorthSea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands, and in numerous concerts in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, China and Israel. From the Midwest to Phoenix to Singapore, Judy is best known for her fun-loving approach to an eclectic and extensive repertoire, her hard-swinging piano playing, her ability to combine lush and sensitive vocals with rapid-fire scat singing, and for her unique ability to communicate with her audience in a relaxed and intimate style. A multiple Grammy nominee, her twenty-plus album/CD releases include the ""The Other World,"" whose hit single ""Señor Blues"" was number one on the jazz charts and in radio airplay; the album ""Trio,"" with Ray Brown and Jeff Hamilton; the song ""Twilight World,"" co-written with piano diva Marian McPartland (on whose NPR show ""Piano Jazz"" Judy has guested twice); and her international hit rendition of Dave Frishberg's ""My Attorney Bernie.""
