Hillhouse

Hailing from Kentucky’s own Derby City, Hillhouse is a progressive Bluegrass band whose roots in traditional music are apparent. Their aspirations to bring traditional music into the 21st century shows a vision that is unique to this young group of instrumentalists and singers. Individually, these musicians have played internationally along with being featured on programs such NPR’s “Mountain Stage”, TEDx and The WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour. The musicians who make up this distinctive group are Taylor Shuck (Banjo and Vocals), Ellie Miller (Fiddle and Vocals), Isaac May (Mandolin, Guitar and Vocals) and Andrew Tyler Brown (Bass and Vocals). They’ll be releasing their debut CD (produced by Louisville’s own Britton Patrick Morgan) later this year.
