Vladimir & Anton Biography

Violinist Anton Jablokov was born to a well-known musical family in Bratislava. Anton's musical upbringing was strictly classical. However, at the age of 9, he discovered some great albums by Stephane Grapelli and Roby Lakatos. This led to many musical experiments at quite an early age making Anton natural in not only Classical but also Jazz, Gypsy, Folk and other musical styles.
Anton entered the State Conservatory of Music in Bratislava in 2004, followed by studies at Hochschule, Lucerne-Switzerland and Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen-Germany. In 2017 he obtained his final Master's degree - "Specialized Solo Performance" under the guidance of Sergej Krylov at the Conservatory of Music in Lugano. Alongside his studies, Anton won several international classical competitions and throughout the years developed his unique, much-loved virtuosic style.
Together with his brother Vladimir, he has been touring Europe since 2014. Their performances include appearances at the BBC Proms (Belfast), National Concert Hall (Dublin), 3Arena (Dublin) and a string of concerts with Katherine Jenkins.
While not able to travel, in 2020 Anton founded a duo with his former fellow student Stefano Moccetti (guitar). This act was successfully established in Switzerland.
Anton loves to perform music by memory, even orchestral parts and has memorized a solo repertoire of around 10 hours that just keeps growing.
