Messiahwaits

† ∞ M. Raised in Seoul, S.Korea and lived in Berlin, Germany, Messiahwaits is an electronic music producer. He started his career as a DJ in 2008 and had many gigs at many different clubs and festivals. Messiahwaits has moved to Berlin in 2013 and started to produce his own sounds. While he was in Berlin, he joined GND Records, German-based label, since his release of a debut track through their compilation, "Digital Spring" in 2014. During 2015 he has returned to Seoul and released his debut EP, "Flashforward" on GND Records. Since then, he has continued to work and has released his second EP, "Paranoid State" on GND Records in 2016. After the successful release with massive responds on "Paranoid State", he is looking forward to sharing his passion and energy on the stage as well as social media. Messiahwaits released his new remix in early 2017 and released his new original tracks on two local compilations on both September and November in 2017. His recent acid track, ‘Journey to Mars’ on Ameniia records was featured alongside wonderful artists in Fiedle’s Berghain 08 mix which was recorded live in Berghain and released by Ostgut Ton on January 26, 2018. Messiahwaits treats Techno music as an artform rather than a musical genre exploring a scope that surpasses functional dancefloor-tools. With few releases yet out, the Berlin-brewed Korean producer illustrates his own sounds with the vision of droning atmospheres and repetitive jacking rythmes that can be presented through a darker, more disturbed path.
