Returning from the USA in 1985, after 25 years of touring and recording with the greats, Mike Nock remains an inspiration to everyone who crosses his path musically. While in the States he was also accompanist for many top vocalists including Dionne Warwick, Helen Merrill, Sheila Jordan and Morgana King. The skills he honed while working with such artists are very evident in his gigs with consummate vocalist Kristin Berardi, described in the SMH as "...probably the finest jazz singer Australia has produced."
