Modd ( Made of Day Dreamers ) has exploded onto the scene with well received releases on celebrated deep house labels including All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Kindisch (Get Physical), Akbal, Do Not Sit On Furniture, and Where The Heart Is. Modd's lush brand of emotive deep house has earned support from genre heavyweights including Pete Tong, Kolsch, James Grant, Jody Wisternoff, Bedouin, Lee Burridge, Lost Desert, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, M.A.N.D.Y., Oxia, YokoO, and more.

Is the DJing alias for Toronto’s Navid Z. A veteran of the city’s electronic music scene for well over a decade. Initially Djing progressive-psy and techno music, he later transitioned his sound, gravitating more towards deep/Melodic house sounds. Hence his ability to unite a plethora of elements and genres throughout his sets. His deep melodic sounds are distinctive, forged through a combination of unique blends digital, analog sounds.

Mystic Mind Biography
Mystic Mind is the DJing alias for Toronto’s Navid Z. A veteran of the Toronto’s electronic music scene for well over a decade. Initially Djing progressive-psy and techno music, he later transitioned his sound, gravitating more towards deep/tech house sounds. Hence his ability to unite a plethora of elements and genres throughout his sets. His dark trippy melodic sounds are distinctive, forged through a combination of unique blends digital, analog sounds.
With a focus on house music, Navid has steadily gained recognition within the dance music community thanks to his wildly popular online mixes and his exclusive mixes on frisky radio, 8day Montreal, Husa Sounds, Deep House Toronto, Deep house Vancouver,
Navid has just returned home from Argentina after playing in various events/ clubs in Buenos Aires including Club Rose in Rio. While he was there he focused primarily on music productions and collaborating with his favourite artists in Argentina.
In his hometown Toronto he has played at numerous venues such as NEST, Parlour, One Loft, Escobar, Wildflower, and MOD Club and in 2014 he played at Eclipse music Festival in Quebec. He has also opened for international artists such as Luis Junior, Pole Folder, Tim Penner, Beat Syndrome and John ‘00’ Fleming. This multi-faceted artist has done various experiments in different electronic genres, ranging from deep house to progressive house and techno.
Nowadays, Navid is in the midst of producing in the studio. His first track "Palermo" is now released on Proton/Balkan Connection South America label. Stay tuned for his upcoming releases.
