FYRE BYRD are fronted by vocalist/guitarist Josh and female drummer Daniella. Formed in only 2017, FYRE BYRD have already made serious ground with their fresh approach, blending classic songwriting with Josh’s distinctive vocal sound and wired modern guitar on top of Daniella’s animalistic, hard hitting drums which is so dynamic and incredible to watch live. After signing with Golden Robot Records (GRR), their debut singles were recorded in Sydney, Australia with multi-platinum artist and producer Steve Balbi. Their debut single ‘Take Me Out’ peaked at number 9 on rock charts across US radio networks, and hit 10,000 streams on Spotify within the first month of its release. In 2018 FYRE BYRD went on a nationwide tour to support their single ‘Take Me Out’. They sold out back to back headline shows and joined supports such as Andrew Stockdale (Wolfmother), SkidRow (USA),Living Colour (USA) and Nothing But Thieves (UK). In 2019 FYRE BYRD released their latest single ‘Put Me In A Dress’ which reached 10,000 streams on Spotify within the first week. “Combining dynamism with melodies, the chorus hooks into your skull rattling the brain, challenging it for space to grow. ‘Put Me In A Dress’ is a caffeine bomb of a track, so contagious you’ll need a doctor for the cure. - Adelaide Rock and Metal Lovers” FYRE BYRD joined Catfish and The Bottlemen (UK) as the main support for the British bands Australian Arena tour across the country this July, performing at legendary venues such as The Hordern Pavilion (SYD) and Margaret Court (MEL). They will be joining Gyroscope on their upcoming tour in Adelaide and Perth.
