Born and raised in Amsterdam, MC PPHOLL has been dedicated to and involved in house music since 1987 and started to host & toast at parties festivals and radioshows in 1997.
His musical background of reggae&dub you can still find back in the minimal, dubby type of mc he has become over the years.
No ego-tripping, useless shouting, sit downs or crowd hyping, but musical lyrical additions & support to the dj, that is what PPHOLL contributes to the line-up.

In the early years the support from mc Marxman (Mustard), Eelko Anceaux (Chemistry) and Mick Boskamp (ID&T radio) gave him the opportunity to make a solid start of a long lasting mc career.
MC PPHOLL is well known for his Amsterdam residencies Chemistry@Escape, TimeMachine@Melkweg and Earth@Paradiso.
Besides those he performed in almost every quality club nationwide as well as abroad in countries such as Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Scotland, UK, Belgium, Germany, Finland, Spain and France.
MC PPHOLL also has been hosting (main)stages at leading festivals and events such as Tomorrowland, A Day At The Park, Awakenings, Mysteryland, Lowlands, Dancevalley, Extrema Outdoor, I Love Techno and Loveparade.

MC PPHOLL has been on stage with the majority of dutch and international top dj's in various styles of house music.
The list is endless, but to name a few: Joris Voorn, Dixon, Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex, Maya Jane Coles, Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Groove Armada, Ricardo Villalobos, Tiesto, David Guetta, Anthony Papa, John Digweed, Sasha, Matador, Roby&Livio, Matthias Tanzman, Timo Maas, Mr C, Darren Emerson, Sneak, Derrick May, Carl Craig, Sander Kleinenberg, Sillicone Soul, Guy J, Jack de Marseille, Ida Engberg, Loco Dice, Anthony Papa, Sister Bliss, Remy, Dimitri, Per, Onno, Marcello, Roog, Erick E, Plump dj’s, Josh Wink, Steve Lawler, Junkie XL, Ken Ishi, Paco Osuna, Dubfire, Richy Ahmed, Jamie Jones and many, many more.
