Nanu Music

Born in Atlanta GA, Daniela Sofia Bragnolo AKA Nanu is an Argentinian singer/songwriter currently living in Toronto. She moved to Buenos Aires at the age of 1 where she was raised by her parents and Argentinian/ Italian grandparents. She showed early signs of passion for dance and dreamed of becoming a ballerina.

At only 5 years old she immersed herself in dance classes, also taking on piano and musical theatre. Fate has its own way as they say and a bad injury with dancing would have her give up any dream of becoming a professional dancer. She still pursued dancing and studied under Argentinian household names like Valeria Lynch, landing her first roles in a musical for Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory in Miami. Later she auditioned and landed roles for The Lion King, Sleeping Beauty and Newsies. Life dramas, her parents’ divorce, health complications and a steady group of naysayers in her life forced her to put a hold on her dreams as she moved to Canada to begin her studies. Currently enrolled at Ryerson University in Toronto for economics and finance with a 4.0 GPA average, an excellence scholarship and president of course union title, Nanu’s success and driven attitude exemplified in her academic studies has truly given her the courage and confidence she needed to fuel her passion for music and establish herself in the music industry. After meeting in 2017 through a mutual friend, Caroline Akwe (vocal coach, mentor, producer) and Nanu worked hard to develop and grow in style, voice, capability, songwriting and performance. The two are currently working on Nanu’s first EP set for release later this year.
