Hip Bobsha Biography
Hailing from southern Rhode Island, Hip Bobsha has been playing shows throughout New England with great songwriting and exploratory jamming for the past twenty years.
Their sound is an engaging mix of rock, blues & folk, and they're not afraid to mix in an eclectic range of covers to diversify their set. Hip Bobsha's first EP "Evolution" was released July 8th, 2015 and was recorded at Bongo Beach Productions.
Together this original four piece band is able to create a solid sound and vibe for any venue, from acoustic tavern shows to rocking stage productions.
MEMBERS:
Brian Recupero is the primary songwriter and lead vocalist. His strong, soulful voice belts out original songs while strumming guitar.
Jason Sorensen is the lead guitarist, laying down blistering solos. He joined the band ten years ago providing additional flavor to Hip Bobsha's unique sound.
Seth Acton groovy bass playing lays down the sonic foundation. He occasionally can be heard singing lead vocals at live shows.
Colin Reilly’s tight, funky style locks in the groove on drums and will keep the crowd dancing and smiling.
