DAN & OCEAN. are an Americana - Soul - Jazz duo comprised of Dan DiMonte and Ocean Lorraine. After meeting in 2017 at an audition in Torrance, California, and embarking on 3 consecutive U.S. tours, the two decided to combine threads from their individual solo careers to craft a powerhouse blend of American Folk, Soul, R&B, Gospel, World Music, and Jazz styles that connect people around the globe. Spreading their own intrepid brand of “Come Up Music,” their mission centers on painting real-life portraits of loyalty, companionship, healing, isolation, empathy, and bravery in a troubled world.

Both highly-educated multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, composers, and producers, DAN & OCEAN. are an undeniable mix of rare talent, tradition, work ethic, and new-age resilience that finds them standing out wherever they go. A Chicago native, Dan has mastered the art of singing while playing guitar, flugelhorn, and keyboard simultaneously with spectacular results. Ocean, an accomplished singing bassist, percussionist, and emcee from Los Angeles with deep Louisiana roots, brings their fresh once-in-a-generation chemistry together.

After a busy 2019 national touring season promoting their album, The Coronado Kid, Pt. 1: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, Winter 2020 finds DAN & OCEAN. hard at work in their own recording studio writing, producing, and mixing a brand new EP set for Summer release. The duo's upcoming Spring / Summer tour of the U.S. and Canada runs April through August followed by a Fall European tour in September through October. Audiences can expect an authentic, sensual, and transcendent concert experience led by two of modern music’s most fascinating new voices.
