Barry Wilson

Barry Wilson is a musician, composer and songwriter from Cork, Ireland. He has spent the last 3 years collaborating with over 40 musicians across Ireland completing his debut album due out September 20th; as well as contributing drums, percussion, piano, vocals and lyrics to his pieces. The music is a seamless blend of Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop and everything in between, guaranteeing a unique sonic experience that's both original and refreshing. Collaborations with artists live and in-studio include the likes of Ophelia McCabe (Renowned Irish MC) Sara Ryan (Up-and-coming solo artist recently named Folk Artist of the Year), Shaool (MC of the well-known Sligo hip hop act This Side Up) and many more. ____ Laura Duff, winner of the IYMA’s Paul Clancy Songwriting Award in 2015 hails from Limerick but spends most of her time in Cork where she is studying music in UCC. After being awarded the Paul Clancy Songwriting Award, Laura played for the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, in Dublin Castle in late December of 2015 where she shared the bill with Dublin indie-rockers, Little Green Cars. Since, she has supported the likes of Dublin duo Hudson Taylor, Roisin O, Christof Van der Ven of Bear’s Den and esteemed British singer-songwriter, Lewis Watson. She was also selected for this year’s Whelan’s Ones To Watch Festival with her debut co-headline tour of Ireland to follow. Laura and her band released their debut single “Up to You", which premiered on Nialler9 in November 2018, with the second single "The Other Side" released in December. Her debut E.P, “For Your Company" was released on February 27th, 2019. Often described as Cranberries and Daughter-esque, this is act you don't want to miss.
