Bloody Mess Biography

Formed at the end of 2016 in Warsaw, Poland, by best friends from high school, who after years of playing separately in different bands decided to start a project of their own. Krzysztof Rychlewski - bass guitar, and Przemysław Gracel - lead guitar, started rehearsing in the autumn of 2016 while looking for a drummer, a vocalist and a bass player. They found Aleksander Stroganow - vocalist, running karaoke in a disco club and were joined by Andrzej Keler - drummer, a friend of theirs from college years. After several unsuccessful attempts at finding a decent bass player they settled for Krzysztof becoming one and thus Bloody Mess was formed. The band started composing music for their first EP - First Blood, which was recorded in Demontażownia and was released Feb 21st 2017. They also began playing concerts soon afterwards, in March, while composing and recording material for an LP - Broken Things which they released in April 2018. In the meantime the band arranged to shoot their first video clip with the help of their friends and thanks to the generosity of the owner of Metal Cave. Soon after the shoot Bloody Mess had to part ways with Andrzej and started looking for a drummer to fill his place. In a matter of days they were joined by Iga Miecznikowska, a fierce woman with HC Punk background and a solid double bass. The band continued composing material for their third album while working on the video clip. After a year of playing and composing, with having enough to record a second LP, Bloody Mess had to say goodbye to Iga who decided to devote more time to developing her own musical brand. In February 2019 Cyril Fedorov joined the group thus changing the equilibrium and turning the band into a Polish-Russian one. Driven by the same force the four of them prepared and recorded the second LP - Changes and played a Poland-France-Belgium tour with Cloud Maze.
At the moment the band has a new drummer - Sergio Pinilla Vasquez and an additional guitar player - Wojciech Trochimiuk. A new video clip for a song from the album Changes has also recently been published - Mirage.
